- OR THE ABILITY TO COMMUNICATE.

Be it Media, Cell phone, Telephones or any other medium - imagine what human life would have been without Communication. All of us have our own positives and negatives within us, we want to share what we think and at the same time we want to be part of the society and be active in our professional and personal lives.. imagine what would we do without the ability to communicate.

Communicating the idea to anyone and everyone is an art, which to some people comes in as an in-born talent. They do excel in their communication wherever they go - but as is said, practice and training make all of us perfect. Without practice anyone can falter at any stage and with practice anyone can be as good as an Oprah Winfrey or Sidhartha Basu or any other famous orator. Whatever your line of work, professional career or field of interest be, communicating with ease is one positive factor that can give you a series of benefits in your day to day life. As someone says, effective communication starts at home - what you may easily convey to your colleagues at workplace need not be so easy to convey at home. And here comes the need to practice.

Toastmasters International - a non-profit organization started way back in the year 1924 in USA by a group of like-minded people who wanted to improve their self-expression and public speaking skills. As with any such organization TI (www.toastmasters.org) too did suffer a lot of initial setbacks but they never gave up - and today TI has over 11700 clubs with almost above 235,000 members all over the world.

Apple International Toastmasters club was started in June 2007 by a similar group of like-minded individuals who wanted to excel in the professional & personal lives - and being an active member I am proud to admit and establish that hard work in any format - never goes wasted. Today AITM (www.appletoastmasters.com) has over 28 members and we invite all the people out there to be part of this challenging opportunity to express yourself at a forum where everyone takes pride in SHAPING OURSELVES. We are a group of enthusiastic, energetic and dynamic professionals from various walks of life starting from Engineers to Teachers to Administrators and so on.
